Sodor and Mainland: A History
The Sodor and Mainland railway was one of the "Big Three" railways of Sodor before the North-Western Railway was born in 1914.
It was founded in 1866 by Frederick Schmidt, a young man with a passion for railways. He ordered a cabless box tank engine from Glasgow to help building. His name was Richard, and was pleasant and kind. He was painted dark green with the letters 'S&M #1' written on his sides in yellow. The line was built from Kellsthorpe Road to Vicarstown. Along with this section of line, Schmidt thought that creating a branchline from Kellsthorpe Road through to Kirk Ronan would be useful.
In 1871, the branchline was over

Wellsworth and Suddery: A History
The Wellsworth and Suddery railway was one of the "Big Three" railways of Sodor prior to the North-Western railway's birth. It was established in December 1873 by Wilbert Alder. It was built to take care of all the towns between Wellsworth and Tidmouth. In 1874, its first engine, a class O2 tank engine named Lily, arrived to assist in building. When she arrived she was painted in maroon with gold lining, with W&S on her sides in gold and the #1 on her bunker in gold. Alder decided that this shall become the official livery of the W&S. She was a pleasant sort of engine with the will to help others. She worked hard helping to build the

Three years ago, in 1993, Ulfstead village decided to re-open the old Ulfstead Castle as a tourist attraction. Work began on it about a month after Wilbert's visit. However, the village believed that the North-Western Railway to help out with the construction. Since Ulfstead was about 3-4 miles away from the small town of Ffarquhar, the Fat Controller had an expansion made from Ffarquhar to Ulfstead village. Thomas, Percy, Toby, and Daisy took supplies and workmen up to the restoration site. The castle was a quarter of the way done being restored by April 1994.

James the Red Engine simmered crossly in the sheds. "Why do I have to pull goods trains?" he asked to no one in particular. "Because," Dane the Austerity Engine replied, "You are a mixed-traffic engine, but surely you know that." James said nothing, he sat in his berth with an angry look on his face while his crew got him ready. "Besides," Dane huffed, "I shunted it for you, so at least we are all spared from your grumbling about shunting." James snorted. "Come along, James," his driver said, "Time to go." With that, James left the shed in a cloud of steam.

I have decided that this account will be used mainly for Thomas stuff and nothing more. My new account (~DMO-2 (https://www.deviantart.com/dmo-2)) is where I'll post other stuff beside Thomas stuff. So just give it a checkout!
Thinking about changing my name on here and on Youtube. May also post other stuff besides T&F stuff. Tidmouth, Knapford, and Elsbridge: A History coming soon. Peace. <random FNAF stuff because.
To celebrate this anniversary, I would like to list out my top 5 favorite episodes!
5. 18.1: Old Reliable Edward
I liked this episode because it had a good plot to it. I thought the uses of Thomas, Gordon, and Edward's characters elaborated how they tend to be quite well. However, this comes in fifth because there are some flaws to it. I plan to be more educated on British Rail rules but I know Thomas shouldn't have gotten on the same line as Gordon, and that Thomas and Gordon were travelling on the wrong lines in the beginning. These are minor, but the episode itself was well written and greatly represented Gordon and Edward's relationship
